I've never learned a whole song from beginning to end. Just always got bored or something I guess. So I got Rocksmith to fix that... And it has BROKEN me!...

Yeah!! Got my game two days ago, run it on my laptop with a cheap pickup for the acoustic. I am very happy with the entire set-up. The first song that I am giving a bash is Knocking on Heavens' door, I am puzzled that it is so hard to get the G chord in particular in time. Em, open strings, "single notes" no problem, just the G. Anybody found any similar issue with the game? Ps..my fingertips are not as tough as I thought ☹

Nope I haven't found that issue. Might just be your pickup isn't picking up all the notes correctly?

Try with a friend's guitar and see if it helps. If it does, then it's your pickup.

Rocksmith is going for $35 right now but it will almost certainly drop lower (possibly below $20) before the sale ends. Keep yer eyes peeled. Sale ends June 21.

I was planning on buying today, but the 40% off seems valid for the entire sale period, so probably no risk in waiting hey?

I doubt they will make it go up. I've never seen that happen before.

The DLC is also on special. Pickup up the Hendrix and Iron Maiden packs (40% and 50% off). Now I really have no excuse any more.

This also means I can now install all the Zep tracks from that other website.

We have had visitors at home since Friday :-[, could not even touch the guitar or the game! Looking forward to this evening ?. By the way my coach reckons RS is a pot of crock "there is only one way to learn"...yeah, all right. I will keep going for lessons though, will just not bring up the topic of GS again.
