I'm possibly opening up a can of worms here, but there's a nice article in the new issue of Speed and Sound that takes a look at equalizers.
Now I know I work for the magazine but the article idea was actually mine - I asked the Sound Editor to shed some light so he wrote a tech article about it. I found it informative, I'm not trying to drum up some sales here. Just though some of the others might find it as useful as I did.
Our sound editor is no rocket scientist, nor specialist, but rather a general sound guy - so no overly technical jargon.

I have purchased said mag already ..3 days ago to be precise...
And i have to admit..the article was very informative....a little long ..but informative non teh less...
If you dont know anything about equalizers this is a good place to start...it taught me a thing or 2 ?

and you should be able to get it at nearly any garage, pick n pay, spar etc that sells magazines

@ Spyke : Wasn;t there a picture of you in the latest issue with the Dyno "shootout".? I was reading up on the event and saw a picture of a guy I've seen somewhere before...
