I wonder what the magic number is these days, 3 minutes 30? Thank goodness we have so many listening platforms these days. I wonder if Don Mclean ever got sick of playing American Pie live? I'm curious because I recently listened to a conversation with Billy Corgan, who at some stage of his career was quite adamant that he wouldn't play the crowd favourites at gigs.
