That maple top seems to be thick as hell? Is it more of a laminate body?
And the body wood? Looks like ash maybe?

Rikus, quite right.. its a push pull for neck and bridge.. i never play the pups together, and i never mess with a tone, so all my builds have only a single vol. I normally havea single coil in the neck but seeing as i had 2 buckers lying around..

Shib, so i thought long and hard about how thick i wanted the top. In total the body is 42mm. In the endiopted on half and half, simply because i was intrigued about what a top that thick would sound like. The back is a single slab of ash, the top is a solid 21mm flame maple
