Hey Visashi! I really like your recording. It sounds clear and present, and I like the spread of the instruments in the mix. I'm interested in how you decide to place what where, like with the drums. Your song has a vibe like this other band I like, called The Helio Sequence. They have this album called Keep Your Eyes Ahead. I programme tracks in Logic, and recently discovered this service called LANDR on the internet. Do you know about it? It's a mastering algorithm. I've used it successfully with instrumental tracks, and I'd be keen to explore what it can do for a vocal track in future - but maybe you'll get there first. Have a great Friday.

Im glad you like it! I usually pan my backing vocals wide. Usually I like to pan different percussion instruments to different sides. It just helps it to cut through better. The main instruments I keep centered to lift the chorus. Like drums, bass and rhythm guitar. All lead pieces are panned to the sides.
I will have a listen to that band. I havent heard of LANDR. Will check it out.

Be careful with LANDR, doesn't really do your track all that many favours sonic-wise:

You'll see from that video that you can end up with a smashed mixed full of digital artefacts.

It's fine if you have no knowledge or abilities to mix/master yourself, but you can achieve better results (and learn a thing or two) tinkering around yourself.
