shit , just checked .... playing witchfest and I might be out of town...will need to make a plan , would love to see this ....the whole folk metal scene I find very lekker

Speaking of folk metal.. in my varsity days, the local campus pub band was a metal band with bagpipes.. called slugsofwar, hehe i properly enjoyed them.. funny buggers too

How long ago was that?

Haggis & Bong do the whole bagpipe metal thing. I'm not sure how active they still are, but they are good fun live.
