Has anyone on this forum had any experience builiding these, or modding a guitart to one of these? I am quite interested to hear as I think that may be an interesting, 'forgiving' project. Any uidance, advice or direction would be appreciated.

No experience, but I noticed stewmac.com has all the parts. They have quite a few instuctional books/dvd that might help you.

I want to do the same thing. I have a reasonable acoustic with a buggered up bridge and is needing a good rebuild.
have a look at this: doesn't sound too bad.
I just don't understand how he put steels strings on a classical guitar without donnering up the neck ???
