Howzit from New York City!
Oig
Hey you guys.
I'm an expat who's been living in the States for the last 11 years, and a fellow guitar-nut. Thought I'd stick my head in and say hi! I played in a few bands back in JHB forever ago, and even though my family and I are crammed into a small (by Jo'burg standards) Manhattan apartment, I still play pretty regularly - daily practice and a set every weekend at the church we're a part of, mostly on electric and sometimes on bass.
About gear: I've been lucky on that front, and have some nice stuff ?
What else? NY's great but we miss SA something terrible sometimes. Especially during these crazy, brutal winters. I couldn't feel my face it was so cold yesterday. Anyways, looking forward to meeting y'all...
Cheers,
G
