Digitech RP250 Opinions
Nitebob
So I used to be in a band up in Pretoria, playing rythm electric and backing vocals. Used to have a Marshall 30DFX which created a great sound I was happy with. Fast forward nine months and got to join a band again, who didn't use any amps, only pedals. So I sold the amp and got a Boss Blues driver. Not quite the same though, I suspect because with the Marshall I was able to add reverb and chorus. Fast forward another year and I am gearing up to join a band again, and thought I'd rather look at a more encompassing effects pedal.
I can get the above pedal used for R500 pre-haggling, and I am only getting good reviews on the net for it. Anybody here care to comment? I can also get a Zoom 505II for about R200 more, but the Digitech seems to be the better built of the two.
Some guidance please?

i had the rp250 , and never had a days worth of trouble with it , nice pedal , easy to customize and fairly solid . would definetly get the digitech over the zoom any day .

For r500 you must grab it. The RP range are solid dependable pedals.
If by the remote chance you do not like it you can sell it again at the same if not more.

Thanks! Scooped it up ons Wednesday. Need power supply though. So the effort starts!

So once again I seem to have found myself in an idiotic situation... I bought this pedal used (6 month guarantee) without a power supply. Power supplies are obtainable, at R310...So if it doesn't work, I get my R450 back....but sit with a power supply I have no use for...
The power supply is 9v/1,3a. I have a Boss power supply but that is a 9v/200mA...don't want to take a chance in messing up the new pedal...
