Hell, I completely forgot about Valentines day and left at 6 this morning to play golf. Walking up the 15th one of the okes tells me it's Valentines day. Anyway, i got home and all seems OK. Now reading stuff and watching the rugby. But I'm sure something is gonna be said sometime. Fortunately I got tickets to Spirit of the Dance next week, so if there is dwang it should only last until then. All cool and groovy man!

I think Valentines day is for suckers or realy competitive people. I'd rather enjoy EVERY day of the year and not get a rose that's going to wilt if I look at it wrong.

I gave her roses a few weeks back, for no good reason. Valentine's Day isn't so much the only excuse to do something special as it is another excuse to do something special - and we do love our excuses. ?

It is a ridiculously contrived, commercialised thing, and I never buy the heart-shaped chocolates or set a table in matching red and white; but we do something nice like have wine and sushi (like tonight).

The thing about our guest room; everybody just dumps all their junk in here. Anyway, it's only been one night so far and possibly not too many more left if I sort this out OK.
