My son helped out Gearhouse that supplied the sound system and it was a good stuff. Same stuff as was used for Kings of Chaos that everybody raved about. They brought their own sound engineers however and my son said that he struggled to hear the vocals. Not much you can do if they insist on doing the job themselves.
I am surprised to see the words Gear House and make the connection to that sound. OK for the Golden Circle it was not bad, but terrible for the seats and further back, but even in the nest places I will agree with the vocal and actually the whole mix getting pretty squashed.
They should have trusted the Gear house, never heard them do bad sound ever ever ever. I love their old school Turbo rig that thing kicks.
Far as the performance goes, the band was excellent. They really went all out and walked on stage sober and well prepared. Dave in an engaging and charismatic front man, and imperfect sound or not they made for a brilliant vibe. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
