Your opinion on this would be really appreciated

Hello.
The thing is, there is a slight issue between certain people about the guitar on this song:

It's a cover of an old disco/funk song "Funky Town" by Lipps Inc. (well, just a two minutes sample). Could the people reading this forum please tell me your opinion about the guitar sound, how it's suits the song etc. Specially about the sort of liquidy wah sound on the verse part. Your opinion would be truly appreciated. Thank you.

Neps

The clean at the end I like, the wah rythem guit at the start is a bit 'clippy', but thats just my taste, sounds a bit like an early Moog loop.

Nothing wrong with that - it's mixed a little loud maybe. Personally I'd ease up on the compression a bit, but that's down to your taste.

Thanks a lot for your comments Alan and Neps. I could use a few more though. Anybody?

In my opinion this sounds good! I have no problem with the mix. Guitars are clear and well played. Mix is good. Not nearly as overcompressed as other mixes I've heard.

Thanks for the comment sepheritoh!
