I had an LR Baggs pickup put into one of my acoustics awhile ago by Shaun O'Neil. He did a great job, but something that is not working is the battery pouch thing.

It's a little bag with velcro on it. So, I've tried the most hardcore industrial velcro I've been able to find and IT WILL NOT stick to my guitar wood like they do in these pictures. Even without a battery in it, after a few days it falls off. With a battery it will stick for a few hours. I can't figure out how to resolve this problem? Any suggestions? I'd prefer not to use anything that'll leave permanent damage to the guitar (like a screw or nail or something). Possibly I need to use drawing pins, although I'd REALLY like to avoid doing something like that.
