One man Band number of instruments played simultaneously

While browsing youtube for one man bands this question above sprang to mind. I recently purchased a cajon and then some more acoustic instruments. I find it very satisfying but testing my musical rhythmic and coordination skills.

BTW I do rhythm guitar, cajon, foot tambourine and nose flute/harmonica

Any other forumites out there doing similar acts and how many instruments?

by instruments do you mean different instruments or how many parts can you do solo and 100% live

i been playing like this for ages .... since i refuse to use backtrax

i see my guitar as 3 parts ...i can simultaneiusly play a walking bassline , a chord and either a melody note or improv notes at the same time on 1 guitar ....
part 4 would be one foot doing bass drum (i gratuated up from cajoun ? )
part 5 would be hi hat pedal with other foot
part 6 would be i play with a brush in my right hand (while i finger pick 3 parts ) and use it for extra percussion crash cymbal /chimes or use the brush to do snare brush work on my gutars top while playing

so yes only using a guitar and drum kit .... so only 2 instruments but i can do 6 parts simultaneously

so short of growing more hands i think i've reached my limit...but the fun is now to get creative with it all and get more complex ...since i play jazz...a simple 4/4 won't do

unfortunately for me i'm not a good enough singer to sing at pro gigs and for jazz mouthorgan isn't quite the instrument so i guess i could add that but rather NOT ? and of course NEVER will i play a kazoo ?

****btw if you in jhb today sunday 26th i will be doing exactly this(all of the above) with a vocalist at Rosebank rooftop market from 12 noon not my full trio just a duo

Similar to Keira, just a little more hi tech:
Electronic kick and snare (or other percussion) with my feet (plus occasionally toggling on and off guitar synth instruments with my feet).

Bass parts (modelled and overlayed) with my right hand thumb on lower two or three strings, rhythm and sometimes melody with my other R.H. fingers on the trebles. Will often overlay octave-up guitars on the trebles and up to two synth parts, divided across the same rhythm/bass split. Plus I always have the guitar's sound coming through, which works as the glue.

Voice (I'm forcing myself to practice for some stuff - not quite there yet, but can pull off backing parts). Usually one to two harmony voices, keyed to/following the guitar (can get up to four harmonies + lead, but that can get real messy in a hurry).

Unlike Keira, I really WANT a kazoo. Just keep on forgetting to buy one... ?arty:

So yeah, number of parts depends on how you count them: at least guitar, kick, snare and voice (although I do think of the bass/treble guitar parts as separate entities); at most, it's lots... ? I take up ten channels...
