1stly congratz on getting entries in - it wasn't as easy a challenge as it initially seemed?

Setzer : I really like this track! Ambient? Chillout? Con-Fusion? I just could not place the genre(s) - and with no blurb I was left guessing, which I thought was a nice touch. Lots of detail in the track with synths, guitars & percussion, I thought everything worked together real well & the overall mix glued things together. Well done!

Skolnick : Awwwww, great idea & some sweet playing - this needed to go on! Perhaps a middle 8 drop (cut the bass & melody) and then back into the main section? Could also maybe add a filter sweep on the synth-y bass, dipping into some low frequencies to add some flavour to the line?

Skolnick: your's sounded the most like a cross-genre, was pretty short though. It reminds me of something that could work in a tv advert.

Setzer: this one was always kind of dance mixed with fuzion (I guess, like dance King Crimson) it actually almost sounds like some legit sub-genre, maybe you're onto something.....

ha ha, never actually listened to king crimson before.

I almost didn't enter this one. I found that this challenge was pretty difficult for me. I really feel like im not good enough to play a genre. Its weird but i cant for instance mix blues or metal because I cant play blues OR metal. its the same with any genre. I have actually not participated in challenges in the past because of it? That word... genre.. it puts me off.

But yeah, it was fun though. Cant wait for the next challenge!
