What type of neck are you wanting.
I have an excellent book on Cigar box guitars if you want I can see if there is a section on necks. Are you going to use it exclusivley for slide if so frets are not an issue. I found that a nice way of doing the frets purely for placement as a slide guitar is cut the slots, fill with pratley putty and sand down, really nice finish looks like ivory slots.
