    Hi, John.

    Welcome to GFSA! ?

You'll have to post some pics of the fenders, and tell us more about the gigs. Far too short an introduction!
      Hi Riaan
      Tx
Just learning to type, and now you want pix??
I'll have to take some and then post.
For gigs, we use ahem..backtracks, but great quality ones, like from guitarbackingtracks.com, and karaoke files where I might replace the guitar solo with the first verse section(cut and paste). Love modern country and southern rock.

We both sing and my daughter Melissa, is doing great!!

I love doing rock classics on the pedal steel, and play harmonica and flute as well.
I was pro for many years in Holland, and now live in Brackendowns, Alberton.
      Anything else? ?
      J

Cool. I also play in a covers duo with my wife (with backtracks), so we have that in common! We're down in Capetown, though.

See you around on the forum! ?
Hey John welcome to GFSA. I've also done my time with backtracks many of them I created from scratch. It's really an art form in it's own right.
Hi John welcome! Yes, pics, pics!
Welcome aboard John! Sounds like a mighty fine collection of instruments you have there, I'm sorry but you'll HAVE to show us!
Hi John - welcome to the forum.

It has to be asked - any relation to the Goodenough "tribe" based here in Cape Town? They are all musical types too, so if I didn't ask it, someone else will. ?
Thank you, everyone, for your warm welcome!
No, no relation, but I have heard of them.

I've just taken a pic with my iphone.
How on earth do I post it?

Hi John, welcome. I am pleased that we are gathering more pedal steel skills. I am very interested in the instrument (I am playing lap steel) but to find one is difficult.
                          Welcome Welcome Welcome! ?
                            hi and welcome john .....

Anybody know what palm pedals are?

First of all, make sure the pictures are on your PC and you know where to get them (What folder they are in).
Then go to a website like www.tinypic.com or www.photobucket.com
On tinypic they ask you what file? Browse your PC till you find the picture you'd like to upload.
Then you can decide if you want to resize the photo or keep it as big as it is...
                                Then click UPLOAD NOW!

After it uploaded your picture it'll give you the code to use in a forum. Just copy that code into the text when replying to a topic.

                                Hope it helps... ?
