Help! Details for this guitar??

My dad just picked up a Cort Earth 200 without pickup from somewhere and I have no idea how old it is.

All it has is a small Cort label mark and next to it printed Earth 200.
And by more to the top it printed 609023.

Not sure if that is the serial number or not.... Cause if it is, it means this thing is made in the 60's??
How old is the Earth series??

Can anyone tell me anything of this guitar?

Nope, AFAIR Cort only became Cort after 1973, so cannot be a 60's model.

mabbe 1996 ..

not much help sorry but def not a 60's model, Cort did not exist in the 60's

aha...then I am stumped.... Cort certainly did not exist as Cort in the 60's so somewhere there is a rat....Cortes and Cor-tek existed earlier but not Cort ..

yaaa but Cor-Tek was founded in 1960 - maybe some poetic licence in play
