So all the Ramones are moved on hey. Read about it in a little mailer I get from time to time. And felt sort of sad because we used to jump around to their music a bit when younger.

I remember a Jools Holland story where he was interviewing a Ramone in a bar and noticed that a meanwhile one of the ladies present was "eh... performing an act upon his, eh.. person". They represented rebellion like few others.

It sucks. And those guy made almost no money. Worked like dogs their whole careers for very little.
But they left us some amazing music. This is one of those bands from the '70s that you find teenagers discovering and getting obsessed with today.
Bands like the Stooges and the Dolls and MC5 came before, but the Ramones invented punk rock. Klaar.
