Some new toys i acquired recently

1994 Epiphone Les Paul

Pretty much what you'd expect from a Les Paul. Has massive amounts of vibe and is a little beat up in places, just how I like it.

70s (?) Aria 12 string (strung 6)

Awesome acoustic, loud as hell and plays like a dream.
Go out and buy 6 more strings. Looks like a great guitar.
Congrats! Solid workhorses those both. There's a good chance the 12 will still take all 12 strings without strain.
thanks guys. regarding the 12 string tho, i actually prefer it with 6 strings, it had 12 on when i bought it but they were old and crappy strings so i strung it 6, and am loving the sound.
          Congrats. :goodtimes:
Those Korean epi's are reported to be really nice guitars, and yours is a looker as well!
How does the fatter 12 string neck on the aria affect the way you play her as a six stringer?

Yeah man the LP is great, and looks so cool too! As for the wider neck, it isnt really much wider than a 6 string at all, i hardly notice it. Only thing is the strings are a little off center to the fretboard, so will have to get a new nut to accommodate.

Some better pics of the Aria, turning out to be a lovely guitar. Definitely a keeper!

Aaand a few more of the Les Paul

                Tasty woodgrain

That character / mojo i was talking about, the guitar is full of little 'imperfections' like this

It also has a graphite nut and graphite saddles as well

Pickguard is warped and isnt that aged color the rest of the plastics are, wonder if its an aftermarket part that didnt fit properly...?
