HI Matt, and welcome to GFSA.
You should get those guitars valued. I'm not suggesting that you go on to sell what you've just inherited, but the Gibson should certainly be worth a bit of money and so you should get an idea of it's value
1) You may decide you want to insure it
2) Somebody might try to con you out of it for much less than it's true worth
3) In case it needs repairs or maintenance - you don't want to overspend on a guitar that's not worth it, but you might decide to invest more in order to preserve a fine instrument and it's value.
