Damn, I was hoping some of these entries would suck to make the voting all the more easier, but all 3 are seriously top contenders. It's really difficult for me to easily choose. I think I can only make my decision after reviewing what I write about you here.

Timmons - Damn man, Damn. That was Action to the max. You really nailed the feeling with it. I felt as if there was a chopper on my ass whilst listening to this. I loved that pause and then when the choir came in, you really got the feeling. You again are an obvious choice. And the ending. my word. So epic. Although I must ask, was this really 4 takes? haha. It definitely did not sound it too me! But its hard not to like this one.

Pass - Ok, this had 2 parts. This was very Duke Nukem, and if ever they had to release the Duke film, I have no doubt they'd make use of this. Guitar tone was great, the drums balanced the track nicely. I'd say you maybe used the samples too much, BUT, as this is a duke nukem theme, and duke nukem is very arrogant and vain, It only makes sense to overuse the samples. My favourite part was definitely the second half. This was a good length as well. But I don't actually have any bad comments on this track, it was good.

Gambale - the title is appropriate for the type of genre it caters for. I like how you take a simple guitar line, a simple groove, simple chords and gel them all together to make them work. And then you slowly introduce new pieces, i.e. that legato guitar line. It builds up nicely, and builds down nicely. I also don't think this was only 4 takes, I'm sure I could hear many different instruments at many different times.

I'm going to give my vote to Gambale, Why? Cause it felt like a good themesong, it was simple, I could place it easily. Again a very hard decision. Timmons, I think you are by far the obvious choice. It was just so damn good, as was Pass, but I'm gonna go with Gambale on this one.

Well don, Timmons. I liked all three but felt this was the most "complete".

Congratz Mixerboy! (Errr...I mean Timmons ?). Knocked the brief out of the park, while keeping it short & sweat. Heish, what a contestant!

However...Gambale was my choice, featured guitar, bass and a great moody/broody atmosphere which had me envisaging a wicked Sin City setting. I rate this high on the re-listen-able scale.

As for pass...Not to the brief at all, but V8 had loads of fun pimping it up with the duke ?
