Looking at one of these as a project guitar.

Can anyone share some more light? High points, low points etc
What are the electrics like.

I know it's got a poly finish, and as the link says, Nato body with maple neck and rosewood fingerboard.

Spyke , strange that you mention the Av1, i custom painted mine to a captain america theme:

Its a great guitar start on with experimentation, i would recommend installing new electronics as they are a bit crappy, the pickups must go, they cant handle any high gain!!!!
