I'd suggest you get a rider from each act listing what they need on stage. The late Fingerpicker and I used to do this at TJ's. We even wanted to know if the performer wanted to stand or sit. We were never restrictive, we just wanted to know what you were going to need on stage. We found that if we were forewarned we could pre-position some items to get into play quickly when needed, we got no surprises and we could turn acts around really quickly.

I started working this way after I saw somebody else run a night at TJ's and get some surprises. One of which went
"You didn't tell me you were bringing your whole band!"
"Well you didn't ask me who or what I was bringing."

Ever since then I've made it my business to find out exactly who and what is going to be on stage.

I have and will get some riders from the acts, unless they are familiar with the Rumours setup. Mostly plug ''n play, but I suspect some acts have something else in mind. I roughly worked out we have about 9 slots to fill we are almost there if everyone commits that said they would. I'll post more details soon.

EDIT: Jayhell, I'll send you our rider later. We've played that Rumours stage a couple of times and have a simple setup that shouldn't cause any hassle.

Pity it's so far away.. ☹ I might be willing to do a solo set otherwise. I only need 10 mins to setup and a pair of balanced line level inputs.

The date is going to move, probably a weekend before or after the 7th! We will see what we get and see who is available then. Eish, this is why I'm not an event organizer. :'(

I do also use a music stand and light, which I take to every gig.

As to the gig , I will save everyone's ears but would like to attend .....I think this is a great initiative ..well done dudes
