Difficulty connecting to the site

Is anybody else having a problem accessing the site? I get error after error and then suddenly I get through. I am not having any problems accessing other sites.

EDIT: when posting this thread I also noticed how slow the site was.

There's a chance it's the location of the GFSA server. It's no longer in SA so if your international cap has been reached, that could affect things.

If you know of smallish international sites to test on (not Facebook, Google, etc - as they have local mirrors) then that could be a way to test if that's the case.

Otherwise it could be your cookies or cache. Try browsing the forum in Chrome's incognito mode to test that. If that improves things, you'll need to clear your cookies and cache. (You can do this for just one site at a time - so you won't lose your other cookies/cache, etc.)

Yeah I've been having the same trouble as Pete... On computer, phone and iPad it's the same...

I have not reached my overseas cap and I'm not having any problems accessing offshore sites... big or small. The message I get is "can't locate server" on Guitarforum.co.za ... not all the time just every now and then, and this over the last few days. E.g. it is fine at the moment. I'll clean my cache and see what happens.

Okay cool, thanks for keeping us posted.

If it can't find the server, it could be a problem with your ISPs DNS server. Please try using these instead:

8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4

They're provided by Google and have been very reliable for me.
