Biggest factor is construction and playability, headstock logos are mostly cork-sniffing... as ya'll know many well known musos make music with solid tops and plywood bodied guitars. ..... nuf said

The few I've seen were typically (for Japan) well-built plywood cheapies. Anything under R1K and I reckon you're smiling. Much higher than that and you can pick up newer, decently made Korean solid tops.
