Metal track.. made entirely on the iPad

Here's a playthrough video of my new metal track, showing all the apps I used in the recording process.
Played on 6-string, thrashy riffs with a 'classical' bit in the middle, and ending with a lead. ?

DAW: Multitrack DAW
Guitar amp sim: Positive Grid's BIAS and Jamup, Ampkit
Bass guitar amp sim: Jamup
Synth: Propellerhead's Thor
Strings sim: Thumbjam
Drums: DM1
All connected with Audiobus
Mastering: Final Touch

Great track Julian! I am not a metal head, but the tune really sticks and I do like. Great photography and the iPad apps, simply great. Wish I could figure that out ???

That was incredible. I think apple/the app designers should pay you to endorse their product.

Quality was unbelievable. It's amazing what can be done on something the size of a book whereas it used to take an entire room of equipment to achieve the same result

Its funny you said that, the one app I used (Final Touch, for mastering) was a bit pricey so I contacted the company and said I'd use it in my video if they gave it to me for free, and they did!

My guitar goes into my Boss GT-10, which goes into the iPad via USB using an adaptor to Lighting plug. Works very well!

Ok so now I'm getting emails from one of the app companies, opportunities to make money making videos for them. This leaves me in a bit of a predicament: One of the reasons I make these videos is that I really want to show you guys how easy it is to produce music in this way, its just made out of love and just spreading knowledge. If I'm being PAID then it will be advertising, which is illegal on the forums (am I right?). I have to figure out a way to use this opportunity to my advantage, yet still be able to freely demonstrate the iPad music making abilities.. :sorry:
