Hi Folks, I am Gareth but people call me Gary Sandstorm or just Gary for short. Capetonian since 1985! ?
Ive been playing since I was a little nipper but only got serious in my late highschool years back in 2001. Then college and job happened and never really had time and energy for tickling the strings.
Now that i am un employed I finally have time to pick it up again and after spending a few rands on an audio interface I am doing some cover recordings to keep me busy.
My gear consists of alot of cheapo stuff.
Guitars: Cort Strat and Behringer strat
Amps: Ryan 30W and Behringer 15W (both crappy starter amps)
Scarlett Focusrite 2i2 audio interface
Guitar rig 5 amp modeling software
My preference of music is metal both listening and playing, but I enjoy most kinds of music.
I hope to buy a mid range guitar this year most likely during the xmas season since the stores around my area almost half the prices. KH-202 or KH-602 are what i am eye'ing atm.
