bass jam tracks?

howdy. i've found a couple of sites with really great guitar jam tracks - some generic genre tracks, blues, rock, etc, others that'll mute out guitar parts of some well-known tracks so you can practise the part you want. looking for the same thing for bass, however, is proving a bit of a mission.

anyone know where i can find - or start looking for - this type of thing? i want to really work on rhythm and timing in a semi-'real world' situation.

Just get standard MIDI files and mute the bass...

You can get bass jam tracks at www.wikiloops.com

Click on Backing Tracks, select the instrument to exclude and search. You can even choose styles such as blues, rock , jazz and funk if that's your bag.
