absolutely .. that tele is guitar porn to me too...beat up tele's just ooze mojo .and the more beat up the more desirable to me ............

.BUT i see the pic has fender custom shop logo on it so if it's a custom shop relic model it has zero mojo ....as it's logged no playing time .... ?. but yes still looks way cool .... but kinda feel it's fake mojo ....

This to me is a perfect example of paying for looks. A lot of these guitars might be visually pleasing but are by no means better instruments than their ordinary-looking counterparts. I'm actually quite curious how those overly inlaid fretboards play. More/less friction?

Most of them are too over the top - no contrast. Understated, clean elegance with a touch of bling for accent wins out every time.
