Yes. But mostly arch tops. Flat tops have been doing much better for some time now. And SOME flat tops. Martins, as already noted, do well. Looking at Electrics Les Pauls do well, SGs and 335s not so well. You can make money out of an old Jaguar or Jazzmaster but Teles and Strats is where the silly money is. Guitars don't do well just because they're old and in good shape.
If you look at the market for 2nd hand Lowdens you can pick those up at surprisingly low prices, especially in Europe. They're great guitars and production was always limited but for whatever reason the market has ignored them. Some models are investments, some are just 2nd hand.
