I went and it was awesome, he's a wonderful drummer, and though what he does is complex I think a lot of the ideas he communicated would have been great to take away regardless of your proficiency on the instrument ?

Agreed- was very good.
As a guitarist had many take aways - liked his quip about Robert Fripp telling him that "he knows where the ONE is!" which can be applied to guitar playing I guess?
