Looking for good quality 1/4 inch jacks

Hi,

My 9 year old Fender cable needs repairing.

Can anyone recommend any good quality, well priced 1/4 inch jacks available in SA? SwitchCraft and Neutrik seem excellent but I'm not sure if they're sold locally.

Neutrik is definitely sold locally. Go to like any music store, they should have.

switchcraft should be available at electronics stores as well.
otherwise, RS electonics online!

Neutrik jacks are available at TOMS, Music Connection and RS Components in Kyalami. RS Components part numbers are 166-282 for the NP2RX right angled jack plug (R56.91 plus VAT) and 166-327 for the NP2X straight jack plug (R47.57 plus VAT). Switchcraft open chassis jack socket part no is 218-0827 (R60.69 plus VAT). I bought from Music Connection last week NP2RX for R70 and Switchcraft jack socket for R69. Hope the info helps.

I'm not nearby any of the major cities so I'll give RS Components a try. Which would you recommend in terms of quality, the Neutrik or SwitchCraft?
