Amp Channel Switching via MIDI

Hello,

I need to get some advice on my Hughes & Kettner switchblade 100 head, I run 2 different stacks
one for my wet signal and other with the dry signal in this case:

Blackstar Series ONE 200 (Dry Signal)

I need to connect both via midi in order to control de amps with the FSM432 controller. What I did was:

1.-Connect the FSM432 controller in the MIDI IN of the H&K Switchblade.
2.-Connect the from the MIDI THRU of the H&K Switchblade to the MIDI IN of the Blackstar Series ONE 200.
3.-Blackstar Series ONE 200 set in OMNI to received the midi information.

The results:

After an 20min start to switch without a problem in the following setup

FSM432 controller Hughes & Kettner switchblade 100 Blackstar Series ONE 200
A Clean Channel Clean Channel
B Crunch Channel Crunch Channel
C Lead Channel OD1 Channel
D Ultra Channel OD2 Channel

if I switch the amp off or suddenly switch channel from the D to the A sometimes stop switch the Blackstar but still switching the H&K. I need to switch both amps at the same time. Any troubleshooting that I can do?? Or maybe connect all the way around and try to control with the Blackstart switch would be work??I already replace the MIDI cable.

You have both amps responding to the same MIDI channel? If your controller is capable of sending on two different channels it's always better to set up devices with each having it's own MIDI channel.

Otherwise, rather use a through box to split your MIDI signal from the controller to the two amps. Much more reliable than using the one amp's soft through IME.

Thank you for the information, The controller respond to midi channels 1,2,3,4. I ordered online a switching system from http://www.midisolutions.com. that would be allowed me to control both channels at the same time as you suggested.
