The pedal kind of rests on finding that transistor, I am not going to go with silicone unless there is no other option. And even then I may as well just can it. (I have tried both Comunica and Mantech.)
Attila Josh you will find them at older electronic stores, Benji bought about 130 of these from my "merchant", last year, Problem is they are prone to high failure rates due to age.... try the man ... DDR4LYF I looked for one about two years ago for a fuzz factory build, but no success. I definitely also would like to know where to get a pair of them!
Attila @Josh you could have 30 -50 % of a batch that are "leaky" which make them unsuitable, Best is to talk to the man....
