Squier Made In Korea Stratocaster Bridge

Hi all
I have a question that really needs to be answered asap.
I am buying a Squier Made In Korea Stratocaster and the usual 6 pivot bridges don't stay in tune so I wanted to know whether a Squier Standard Strat bridge would fit in the MIK Strat. It is a 2 pivot bridge.

Possibly. It'll fit in the cavity and it's an easy job to fill the old holes and drill the new. However, whether it lasts depends on the body wood and whether it's routed for a bridge humbucker or not. If it's an Asian basswood and routed for HB, there is sometimes not much meat in front of the posts and the wood is prone to cracking from the trem cavity to the pickup cavity when the trem is used (or if the wood is really soft, the post holes can go oval).

Are you sure it's the trem thats causing tuning instability? Check the nut before making any mods. Usually a badly cut nut can cause all sorts of problems.
