I'm flying from CT to JHB in a weeks time and I'm taking my guitar with me.
Never done this before - any advice?

Take your guitar with you as hand luggage and give it in as special release. You will be surprised to see alot of guitars there

I took a guitar from Cape Town to Jozi a few months ago. Kulula. The charged me R350 to take it as hand luggage. Not a double bass, not a twin neck SG, just a les paul. R350. each way.
