Cort Guitars

I just bought a Cort G290 and I'm looking to get a proper strap and strap locks.
What would you recommend?
I was looking at the DiMarzio 2" Nylon ClipLock. I've seen that most of the pros use them.

I also have my first guitar, a Cort G110 that I'd like to kind of modify.
Its going to be setup in Drop B tuning.
I want it to be my metal guitar so I want it as simple as possible.
It needs a new nut, tuners, maybe a better humbucker pickup etc.
I'm also thinking of getting a different scratchplate just for a humbucker and a volume control
I know you can't get any pickguards for the Cort but would anyone be willing to make one?

Could you recommend any products?

josh hello josh, im going to buy a g290 shadow blue, what about the strap button behind ,it is comfortable to hold the guitar ? thanks a lot, the cort are very good i own a G CUSTOM its a fantastic guitar, thanks a lot and have a good day

A lot of guys like the Cliplocks, but the Nylon makes me nervous (in the long run, at least). I won't use anything other than the Schaller Strap Locks bolted firmly on to leather straps. If there's one place you want German over-engineering on a guitar, that's it. The pic you show has Schallers on it...

Get a blank and make a pickguard yourself, tracing the old one. Most luthiers find them to be too much work for what they can charge.
