The new Martin D-28M
Squonk
Doesn't this just look wrong?

Big-G
Looks great..... Until you get to that headstock! What on earth were they thinking?!!!
G!
Nitebob
Looks all kinds of right to me...but we all know I'm a little nuts for something 'different' ???
peterleroux
As weird as they look, six-in-lines like this
go back 200 years
. Martin even made similar shapes in the 1830s. Of course, Leo Fender took a look at Merle Travis' guitars when he was designing the Strat headstock...
Squonk
Notice the scratch plate
Bob-Dubery
This is the kind of Martin you buy as a nest egg. They only made 100 of these.
Travis bought a standard D28 many years ago and had Bigsby make and fit a neck that was just like that on one of his electrics. As usual Martin recreated the idiosyncrasies when they devised the signature edition.
Chabenda
The headstock looks as if it was designed to gut animals. Like most of Bigsby's inventions, it looks as if it would be better off in a butchery ?
Fingerpicker
Looks like a Fender crossed with a Batmobile....
