beginner guitar fx

Hi,

I put this together for my cousin as a christmas present but though others might find it useful to.
It's a pdf outlining 3 simple guitar effects circuits.

I've made the muffer so far with my cousin (the other 2 are soon to be started). The muffer gets good results and has some possible tweaks which should be interesting.

I was able to get all the parts from mantech, except for the inductors. The inductors were ordered from farnell (mantech can organise).

Dude I have seen these designs a thousand times.. how do they sound? Especially the muffer? Think I might try it

The muffer sounds good. Not particularly ground breaking though.

I'm probably gonna build the fuzz face next week. fyi, the fuzz factory seems very similar to the fuzz face. I might have a go modifying it closer to a fuzz factory afterwards.

what if I may ask is the deff between an audio taper pot and linear pot? I get linear.
