Demo track for my new band :)

Hey guys

Im proud present my new band: OhGod! to y'all ?

The music is a kind of prog-metal, post rock and Alternative Rock hybrid... Mostly Instrumental. I say mostly, but we are fully instrumental for now, but I plan on getting some vocals to play very small supportive role later on.

this is our first demo track - that we recorded in my room over the last 2 weeks.

Got 2 more I just need to touch up and mix and will get those up and running.

Also, our first gig is Next week Friday the 21st Feb, supporting Poverty of Ideals and Facing the Gallows at Mercury Live in Cape Town.

Any mix related things you guys have picked up on your playback systems?

Also, im mainly interested in whether - It being instrumental music, it manages to keep ones attention throughout the duration of the song. as for the average listener, lack of vocals can be a bit confusing.

I prefer this type of music without vocals! There is some dialogue though....
Although I wouldn't be the average listener. My ears are well honed into progressive rock and this is GOOD STUFF

Sounds great through my PC Speakers, and I don't have those little tinny things ?
