supposed to be taking time off, but this is frustrating the hell outta me, and no-one is better qualified than you lot.

forward to about 1'30". to me, the headstock is pure taylor. but looking at the website, it doesn't match up. and it has a pickguard on it which would cover precisely where taylor seems to put their knobs and wotnots.

custom? not that prince has much history with custom guitars... ?

Yes, as Alan says it is indeed a VOX HDC-77. I have the same guitar, but in a different finish. Can't say anything more though due to forum rules. ☹
