Hmmm... Seems I was pretty well behaved, the only rule I broke with great regularity was #1, but that's a dumb rule anyway. Now for a list of all the golden rules broken, cardinal sins committed, and monumental blupses made in my crazy youth, look no further than some of the scenes in Spinal Tap! :goodtimes:

I break just about all those "rules" on a regular basis. Except for the radio-mic-rule-thingy.....I don't trust anything that is wireless......and there is no chance of me busting a dance-move ever.
I do have a problem with rule no. 1 though. I mean WTF? There is nothing wrong with playing a Strat or anything else for that matter. That peice of wood with strings attached to it has no influence on the state of your "coolness".
So, taking that into account, the guy who wrote put together this list has no clue and probably just did it for a laugh.....which he got.

You might notice that these are rules about things that musicians do routinely. Most guitar players play strats. Masses of people do these things. The conformism actually runs the other way. Needs a bit of a shake-up, IMO.

I would go one better, and say I will pay good money to see a band break all 9 of these rules at one... I say 9, because the "agressively fellated face pulling solo face" has forever tainted my brain, and I will never be able to look at another solo the same way again :'(
