Here's some guitar's n stuff I'm not interested in buying, but maybe you do.

I'll keep posting if I find any goodies.....

The Dean and the Schecter were too expensive, but maybe you can haggle...

Marshall was R2495 if I'm not mistaken.

R1400 Ibanez Road Gear Bass, it was spotless, no case.

1960's Gallo Cheapie, but was interesting with the moulded plastic body, copy of the Gretch guitars I think.......R700, but the neck was not in good shape ☹

Joe Satriani Ibanez - R1200 at Cash Crusaders Edenvale

Ibanez RG 7 String - A bit too expensive if you ask me, asking R3200.

Oooo, That Ibby Bass looks like a good deal!

From the pic, I'm thinking it's possibly a RD300 w/passive p/u's. Apparently these are very good project basses.

I'm a fan of the Soundgear basses (Dig the slimmer neck), the Roadgear is the predecessor and also has a slimmer neck...good thing I'm not bass shopping. (Doh, I think I just did... :?)

That Schecter probably retails for R13k plus (I'm assuming since my Hellraiser of similar spec, and also of the Diamond Series cost 10k back in 2010).

I doubt that Schecter retails for anything near that. Doing some research they're going for $400 used in the US, and it doesn't have the fancy top that the more expensive schecters do , and it's only got Duncan-designed pickups, not actual Duncan's.

It is however probably a very decent guitar.

Actually whilst on this thread I saw (on Monday 3rd Feb2014 a Nippon Gakki (Made in Japan) Vintage Electric base. Felt good (but my knowledge of basses is NONE!), At Cash Converters, East Rand Value Mall Boksburg, for R1250 I think.

Apologies sorry for the dodgy details, I popped into a pawn shop on (Boksburg/Benoni) North Rand Road, just before the Atlas road intersection. They had a vintage Ibanez destroyer MIJ. Didn’t see a price or have the interest to ask but thought I’d pass it on anyway….. Oh also had a Chinese Ibanez with a BC Rich kinda heavy pointy thing going.
