Help with fret buzz

So I accidentally dropped my strat from about 40 cm high on to a soft carpet ☹

Luckily it's still structurally intact but for some reason I've suddenly got major fret buzz on the g string. Since I'm not used to doing anything but minor changes what do you reckon could have caused this?

All the other strings are still perfect and it's neck is still straight. Could I just raise the g strings saddle height slightly to rectify this?

depending on how hard it was dropped, a couple of things could have happened, which could have affected the string tension, intonation, saddle, maybe even loosened a fret? etc.
it should do no harm to adjust the saddle height, but if its still buzzing after the adjustment, you should take it to a techie to take a closer look at it.

Which way down did it land? If it landed fretboard down then make sure that none of the strings got pressed against a fret and developed a kink as a result.

No it landed fretboard up luckily.

Have to agree with the above - If it's one string only, then it's string or saddle (possibly a popped fret - but that usually affects outside strings first).

Replacing the string first is an easy first step. Might not work, but it eliminates the string as the problem.
