Explorerlover Anyone had a chance to check out the latest Metallica ESP signatures? I'm a big James Hetfield/Metallica fan, but the Iron Cross is too much for me. Looks like a badly decorated Xmas tree... http://www.espguitars.com/news/news_kirkjames.html Your thoughts?
JoEllis I'm a really big Metallica fan and I've always liked the look of the KH-2's (especially the Ouija ones), but I don't like the Iron Cross. It just doesn't look right and I don't like the relic-jobs they do on them - not that I've ever been fond of the whole relic-thing.
Reinhard Call me crazy, but I like the Iron cross. If I'm not mistaken, Gibson was going to reissue his Iron Cross Les Paul custom. Wonder why he went with ESP. That white OUIJA looks sweet.
deanBailey I'd choose the iron cross over kirks model. But due to my performance stance I wouldn't want a Les Paul shape guitar :/
Explorerlover bENDER wrote The new axe's look brutal!!! It rubs the lotion on it's skin........ ? HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!
your_art_is_life that iron cross would look so sweet without the racing stripe! that ouija...bleeeggg, thats just a bad copy of kirks guitar, thats his thing man.... im more interested in the sounds tho!!! anybody had a chance to try em out? peace
Explorerlover your_art_is_life wrote im more interested in the sounds tho!!! Get your hands on a LTD or ESP eclipse as it is basically the same guitar as the Iron Cross.
