Rodgers is a fab player. Chic were at Glastonbury last year and were one of the bands included in the TV broadcast. Really, really good musicianship, very tight. Not my bag with all those disco hits, but on the night they must have been very hard to resist.

He was pretty solid at the Grammys on Sunday night.

If I recall correctly, he was well known for using a Tokai Strat back in the late '70's, early '80's. I understand that this is a Fender article and obviously that fact may have been 'ignored'. Anyone else recall anything about this?

I think that he's a fantastic player with incredible rhythm.

Yes. I recall reading about him using a Tokai. Would have been early 80s.

Huh. I didn't know that at all. But it checks out. He used it on Madonna's "Like a Virgin."

Funny you post this, because just yesterday I was trying to play some of his famous riffs in my strat. He's got a few lessons on the Youtubes which are quite fun to play along to.

i hear you. and i'm not even a strat fan. swore off them after i sold my highway one...
