well, regardless of the outcome, i have a few things i'd like to say:
- first, as i think i've said, this was really cool, lots of fun, a great topic, and i'm massively grateful for finally being pushed to get off my asset and enter
- second, all three of the other entries were great, it was difficult choosing a winner for me. my votes went to hammeron and v8, both great entries. just thought they were well deserving of the votes
- third, to everyone for votes, thanks, and for comments, double thanks - everything will be taken to heart and hopefully used to improve upon for the next entry. coz there will be one! (possibly even a few...)

now, where's a good bike shed?

ANNOUNCEMENT

Pete and I have decided that I will keep on running the comp and when I am too overburdened or unable to host a specific comp, he will take over. Perhaps a 2 man team is the best way to approach it.

Having said that, I am greatly privileged to be given this responsibility, the competition section has always been one of my personal favourite sections of this forum and I hope to see it grow in numbers.

I will also be thinking of new ideas for the competition and general ways to spice it up. But for now I am going to keep it the same as it has been, as I wanna get the Feb one up and running and I haven't really thought of any changes I may want to implement. I am completely open to suggestion, so please let me know if there is something you think we should be doing or trying for the comps.

So for the sake of getting the ball rolling, I'm gonna ask domhatch to PM me his theme

Yep, Adrian has done a great job with the latest challenge and it seems silly to rock the boat now. But I will be there to support him as and when needed. Lets keep the challenges alive!!
