IceCreamMan To all F1 fans see if you can get this movie , well worth a watch an very well depicted is the era and specifically the rivalry tween hunt and lauda http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1979320/
Psean Although that does sound cool. Haven't watched F1 for years now, I enjoy seeing the stuff from before my time a lot more. The modern stuff is so boring.
V8 Good movie - thoroughly enjoyed it. Somewhat dramatized for big screen, but I thought the actors pulled it off quite nicely. The racing/driving sequences were especially good, usually a weakness of car movies - these were really detailed and well done.
Squonk Psean wrote Damn. I saw Rush and was expectring: = And what a great album Hemispheres was(and still is) ?
Talentloos Watched this last night. The guy you played Lauda did a excellent job. That's exactly how he is in real life. What a legend. Awesome movie. Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
Bob-Dubery Hunt was once asked how he did so well in qualifying. Think how a contemporary driver might respond. What Hunt offered (on TV) was "I get in the car and give it arseholes". Come to think of it, most of HIS contemporaries wouldn't have said that.
IceCreamMan I tell you what, if I was not such a manly man I would of shed a tear at the end of Rush...it really is an excellent movie of a bygone era where men in sport were perhaps a lil more noble towards each other... the racing footage of the old kyalami brought a tear to my eye...many the time we would camp over at the track to watch racing events.... movie is actually broader than just for F1 fans I reckon...well worth a watch and director Ron Howard has created a masterpiece here
