from what i understand this sould be one of the best acoustic effects oute there ...

Looks very good, I haven't tried it but read all the reviews etc.
I am still investigating going through a DI box into the amp to get that natural acoustic sound.

I have tried lots of acoustic effects but not in the range of the TC electronics, they all sound good but lack a bit of that natural sound.
I want to experiment with the DI box and some other pedals like Bob's Carl Martin etc.

I don't see or hear anything special. There are similar products from Roland, Korg and others.

The thing that makes a plugged acoustic sound unnatural is the pickup. The only way around that is to use an acoustic modelling pedal, like the Fishman Aura or D-Tar Mama Bear which basically model the pickup sound into something like a miked acoustic. No FX though, but you don't need much on a good sounding acoustic IMO - a touch of reverb'll do ya.

what drives me to this pedal is that i can do a big variety of sound plus voice effect and match more stuff

i think is all in one solution .. and it sounds pretty goo to me ..

many presets and custom settings with a good sound quality ..

i was going for the zoom pedal .. but a heard it on a youtube review and the sound quality was rubbish ..

there is quite a bit price deference but .. i think this is worth the extra money spend .. i hate when i buy something and after a year or so i want another one .. a better one ..

so i just want to go strait to the good stuff.. ?

The mic input is for a guitar mic, rather than mixing in a voice.

I totally agree with Alan... a natural acoustic guitar sound is just a good guitar with a nice natural sounding pickup and straight into a great amp that does not distort when the volume rises....

if i recall no one you were wanting to get the AER ...woow if you buy that and have a great guitar you won't need effects unless you want to really pile on the the flanger /Delay to get wierd tones from the acoustic.... but every effect you add changes the natutal sound of the guitar ....

but i have heard some awesome avante garde acoustic players doing strange and wonderful things with acoustics.... and effects...so it depends what you want .
